Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) – blanks manufactured to order, OSB3 faces or custom faces.
SIPs are a composite building material, taking the form of a sandwich panel with two structural boards forming the external facings and an internal insulating foam core. The external facings are Oriented Strand Board (OSB) and the internal foam core is high performance rigid polyurethane foam (PUR).
The OSB skins are foamed in situ during the insulated panel manufacturing process, the PUR insulated core provides both the bonding strength and the insulation properties to produce an extreamly rigid construction panel with exceptional insulation values.
